(London League Two North)WHILE Bishop's Stortford led for the majority of the match the fact that it was only by a single penalty proved to be their undoing.
Following a solitary Stuart Haslam penalty the home side found Woodford a hard nut to crack, as both defences refused to buckle.
Unfortunately though Stortford fell behind to two penalties in the second half as Woodford begun to stamp their authority on the game.
And further pressure from the visitors saw the home sides defence finally crack to enable Woodford's right winger the chance to score under the posts. An easy conversion gave the visitors a deserved victory.
The seconds fared slightly better against their respective counterparts, with an 8-8 draw, whilst the thirds grabbed a 25-5 victory against Old Albanians thirds.
The first team now have a week off to regroup before their final league fixture of the year away at Thurrock on December 22.
