ON SUNDAY December 9, Bishop's Stortford Running Club took second place in the second match of the Run-In League.
The meet, held at Hawksmoor Leisure Centre in Borehamwood, had a four-and-a-half mile course which challenged all the runners.
Harlow won with 107 points followed by Bishop's Stortford with 123 and Bishop's Stortford member Alasdair Bruce ran an excellent race to finish first overall. The rest of the team were Dave Carr, Paul Chapman, Tim Allsop, Tim Webb, Marc Lambert and Chris Tate.
The women were Jennie Vartan, Jayne Shepherd and Bell Bradstow.
Bishop's Stortford Running Club meets every Wednesday evening at 7.30pm and on Sundays at 9.30am in the Hockerill Sports and Social Club clubhouse in Beldams Lane.
