A new schedule of Croydon National Trust meetings has been announced for the winter, to take place every second Wednesday of the month at Shirley Parish Hall in Wickham Road.
On December 12 there will be a traditional Christmas meeting featuring stalls and entertainments, including a performance from the Salvation Army Band.
On January 9 there will be an historical talk on the Royal Chelsea Hospital.
On February 13 Julian Treyer-Evans will present a celebration of beautiful gardens around the world.
March 12 will see a return visit from Dennis Ashbourne, a guide at Hampton Court, who will talk about the fire of 1986 and the restoration of Hampton Court.
Coffee and biscuits are served before the start.
Tickets cost £3 and can be obtained in advance from Mr and Mrs Alldis, 20 Southview Rd, Warlingham or on the night at the door.
Meetings start at 7.30pm.
