With regard to the article entitled Study reveals park problem, in the Guardian November 29.
It would appear that the Croydon Council spokesman' forgot to include the several hundred acres of park land that was lost to the right of way for the tram system.
All they way through Lloyd Park, through the woods up to and down over Gravel Hill, and on to New Addington, as well as the many acres lost within South Norwood Country Park.
2000 trees, over 20 feet in height were lost between Lloyd Park and Gravel Hill alone.
