What better way to stock up the fridge and the kitchen cupboards ready for Christmas, than with a visit to the next New Addington Farmer's Market on Saturday 15 December?
Producers from all over Surrey and some from further afield will set up stalls in Central Parade from 9.30am to 1.30pm.
The market is the ideal place for shoppers to pick up whatever they need for Christmas, whether it's some freshly cut festive flowers or a plump pheasant as an alternative to the turkey for Christmas dinner. All the fruit, vegetables, baked goods, dairy produce, meats and drinks are grown, reared, caught, brewed, pickled, baked, smoked or processed by the stallholders themselves. Festive entertainment for market shoppers will be provided by singers from Croydon's Green Fair who will be enchanting Central Parade with popular Christmas carols and traditional winter songs.
