Croydon's Addiscombe Road Co-op Dividend cardholders are sharing a record £55,000 Christmas payout. Another £63,000 goes back to customers of the other eight Co-op stores in the Croydon area.
The top payment, to a customer of the consumer-owned retailer's Addiscombe Road supermarket, is a whopping £373, while many shoppers have accrued more than £50 since the last Divi payout at Easter.
Generous Co-op customers in the area are also contributing almost £4,000 to local charities and community groups through the Community Dividend Scheme.
