Local residents are being invited to take time out from the hustle and bustle of Christmas shopping on Saturday, December 15, to enjoy a special treat being offered by the Croydon Guyana Link.
The event, taking place at The Royal Russell School, Coombe Lane from 1-5pm, will offer visitors the chance to sample the delights of Guyanese art, craft, food and its unique culture.
The Morbee Quouadians Music Group will be providing the entertainment and members of the Croydon Guyana Link will lay on a feast of Guyanese food.
Proceeds from the event will go to the Guyana Link, a local group dedicated to promoting awareness of international issues of environment and sustainability.
