YOUNGSTERS at Stillness Infants School are being encouraged to look to the future with the aid of their newly acquired recycling bin.
The paper bin was presented to staff and pupils at the school, in Brockley Rise, by deputy for environment Councillor Paul Morris.
The pupils are being encouraged to take in unwanted, recycleable items, including copies of the News Shopper, so they can be rccycled.
Cllr Morris said: "This is a chance for pupils to learn at an early age about the value of recycling. They can work together now for a cleaner, greener environment in years to come."
There are now 25 schools in Lewisham borough using waste recycling bins provided by the council.
