COMING off the back of last week's hard fought FA Cup win against Lincoln, Orient manager Paul Brush is predicting another tough match away at Macclesfield this Saturday.
The Silkmen are looking good at the moment, after recently securing two impressive 4-1 home wins against Luton and against Swansea in the FA Cup last week.
He said: "We face them at a stage when they have just hit a good patch, which seems to be the case with all the teams we have played lately. But that is the rub of the green and you just have to get on with it.
"Obviously they will be full of confidence, especially as they have just got a good FA Cup draw against West Ham.
"We know we need to play well to get something out of the game, but we want to build on what we have done in the last few weeks and we will go there with a positive attitude."
Brush has highlighted the Silkmen's leading scorer, former Nottingham Forest striker Lee Glover, as potentially the main threat.
And he added: "I haven't seen him in the last couple of years, but I know he is a good forward. At this level you don't have to be a quick striker to causes trouble, because someone with a bit of brain and knowledge such as Lee will be a threat."
Matt Lockwood looks set to return to the squad after picking up a hamstring strain against Plymouth, providing he came through yesterday's (Wednesday's) reserve team fixture with Wimbledon.
"It will be good for Matt to get 90 minutes under his belt and we will judge his reaction to that, but I would expect him to be in the squad," confirmed Brush.
The manager also gave his reaction to Sunday's cup draw, which has pipped his side against Portsmouth and he said: "Obviously we would have to play extremely well to get something there, but who knows? It is a one-off game and we will just go there and give it our best shot."
And while some of Brush's players have claimed that they would rather get promotion than enjoy a good cup run he is keen to point out: "We aren't mentioning the play-off's at the moment, because we are in a position right in the middle of the table.
"Obviously we want to get a lot higher in the League and we have got the potential and the players cable of getting near the top, but it is just whether we have got the consistency to do it."
