Old Rutlishians threw away a two-goal lead against Battersea Ironsides to crash out of the League Cup 5-3 on Saturday.

Ian Lennard scored his 300th goal for Old Ruts a club record but that was the only good news of the day after a woeful performance.

Lee Poulter scored the other two for Ruts.

But Old Ruts Reserves overturned a two-goal half-time deficit against Warlingham Reserves to secure their first win in five games.

Piers Capper, Paul Beaumont (three) and Steve Berry scored.

Oakway Sports beat Old Ruts A 2-0.
