A pensioner collapsed in front of a bus, forcing the driver to break hard, outside Sainsbury's in Stafford Road, Wallington, at about 1.30pm on Wednesday. Fortunately, firefighters were on hand to give him oxygen and first aid and, after regaining consciousness, he was taken to St Helier Hospital for treatment.
