A tennis club will be able to open most of its courts up at night after gaining planning permission for floodlights at Wednesday's Sutton area committee meeting. The Sutton Tennis and Squash Club, based in Devonshire Road, has been given the go-ahead to put up lighting for six of its nine courts, but must still seek council planners' approval on the implementation of the scheme.
