Artists and performers joined with teachers, council officers and local arts professionals to celebrate the launch of The Link, a new Arts Education Forum for Wandsworth.
Supported by Wandsworth Council, the forum has been set up to promote arts education and creativity within the community. It aims to encourage links between arts organisations and educators in the borough through the sharing of knowledge, ideas and resources.
The launch, at Chestnut Grove School in Balham last month, featured impressive performances from the British Street Dance School and dynamic rapper poet Skorpio the Nemesis.
There were also displays from several leading arts organisations including the poetry charity Apples & Snakes and local children's drama school The Arts Factory.
