A 64-year-old shop keeper from Richmond was subjected to a terrifying ordeal when robbers pushed her into a store room before stealing £300 of mobile phone cards.
The incident happened at the Variety Box in Upper Richmond Road West, on Sunday, December 9, at 10.55am.
The victim was on her own when two suspects entered the shop twice, loitered for a few minutes but left when others came in.
On their third visit the two were picking up sweets and asking for prices until one man made a grab for some batteries.
The victim got the batteries off him but was pushed into a nearby store room.
The robbers, who had by now been joined two more men, then stole a box of mobile phone pay-as-you-go cards.
The four robbers were all white and aged around 18 years old.
