Ham Parade was officially reopened on Saturday after receiving a long-awaited facelift.
Richmond Park MP Jenny Tonge joined the Mayor of Richmond, Councillor Eleanor Stanier, in cutting the ribbon to officially re-open the new look parade.
The refurbishment included improvements to the parking facilities and bus stops on the parade, altering the pedestrian crossing and planting new trees.
The improvements were funded by Richmond Council and the London Bus Initiative.
Ward councillor, Sir David Williams, said: The council is now trying to encourage Ham Parade traders to set up a traders association to ensure the area is well looked after.
