As pub managers Patrick and Mary Small discovered, theres no predicting what a bit of tipple will do for a fundraising event.
In a single night, the Star pub in Hampton Hill raised £2,000 for the Shooting Star Trust in October.
The highlights included two punters having their heads shaved and a woman dyeing her hair green.
Patrick said: We wanted to do something for the Shooting Star because its a local charity and theyre building a hospice nearby.
