BIG-HEARTED shoppers were rewarded with a visit from Father Christmas, after buying more than 600 gifts for underprivileged children in the borough.
The Gifts from the Heart appeal allows shoppers to select the name and age of a child and buy them a gift and looks like beating its 1000 target by Christmas.
The appeal is run by Community Links Bromley, in association with the Glades shopping centre, which acts as Father Christmas, delivering the gifts to local children in time for the big day.
