WESTCOMBE PARK lost 32-16 at home to Launceston in National League 3 South on Saturday.

It was the second week running that they leaked a hatful of points in the last 10 minutes. Ben Smith got a try, while Derek Coates kicked three penalties.

Meanwhile, 24 hours later, Combe comfortably beat Charlton Park 41-9 in the Kent Cup. The next home game is on January 5 versus Tabard, kick-off 2.15pm. Before this home game, Westcombe Park travel to Old Patesians this Staurday.

Old Dunstonians' experience and superior skills saw them through to the second round of the Kent Cup against a plucky Sheppey side, running out 49-13 winners.

To their credit Sheppey kept their hosts on their toes by never giving up the chase and getting on the scoresheet with two well-taken tries and a drop goal.

The Old Boys' tries were scored by Simon Clay, Jeremy Scott, John Love, Jonathon Bennett and three from Dean Yendell. Jeremy Scott kicked six conversions, while Stuart Burns got the other.

Bromley advanced to the sixth round of the RFU Junior Knockout Cup when they travelled to Eastern Counties side Westcliffe-on-Sea on Saturday and triumphed 35-10.

League leaders Bromley return to league action when they host Erith on Saturday in a Kent League 1 match, kick off 2.15pm.

Beckenham carried on the annual tradition of beating Blackheath 24-18 in their back yard with a performance high on passion and commitment in the Kent Cup.
