A CHISLEHURST youngster won a national competition with a snapshot taken on a family holiday.
Eleven-year-old Joanna Eames, of Green Lane, won the RSPCA young photographer of the year competition with her picture of a shoal of stingrays taken in Florida.
She beat more than 5,000 entrants to the prize of an Olympus camera, £250 worth of books and £250 cash.
Judge, TV presenter and wildlife photographer Chris Packham said: "I really enjoy judging this competition and seeing so much photographic talent. Many of the pictures show great originality.
"I love the patterns of interlocking stingrays and light on the water in Joanna's photo. It shows great composition and was definitely the best picture photographically."
The winning photos are on display at the Grosvenor House Hotel, London for the next month.
