A HAIR salon is a cut above the rest after being declared a double award winner in a prestigious industry competition.
D & J Ambrose in Bridge Street, Pinner, is 'Avant-garde Hairdresser of the Year'. TV celebrity Mark Lamarr handed over the award to salon owners Darren and Jackie Ambrose at the British Hairdressing Awards.
The in-demand pair have also collected a special award at The Dorchester Hotel from the Fellowship for British Hairdressing as the top 'New Generation' salon in the UK.
Mr Ambrose said: "We are very excited to have been honoured twice for our work. The team is really excited and it is a testament to their creativity and hard work."
