PLAYTIME is going to be better for pupils at a Gravesend primary school now their playground has doubled in size.
The new playground in Holy Trinity Primary School, Trinity Road, was officially opened by Gravesham MP Chris Pond on Monday.
The extension cost £60,000. Now the Parent Teacher Association (PTA) is trying to raise £6,000 to buy playground equipment.
Headteacher Graham Howard said: "This is very good news for the school and it means our pupils now have adequate play facilities.
"I want to thank the governing body and PTA for all the work they have done to get this new playground."
