A GREAT-grandfather took a giant leap out of a plane and plunged 12,000 feet to the ground for charity.
Ken Pater, 68, decided to do a tandem sky-dive earlier this month to raise money for mental health charity Mind.
Mr Pater, of Timber Close, Chislehurst, said he was "thankful" to have both feet back on solid ground but also grateful to the amount of support he received, having raised more then £2,000.
He decided to raise money for the cause after discovering his older sister has dementia.
