I am writing to your paper to say thank you to the person or persons responsible for scratching, hitting and badly denting my car before driving off, getting away without so much as a sorry.
I was on a Christmas shopping trip in Sutton on Tuesday, November 27 and was parked in the multistorey car park that adjoins Marks and Spencer.
On my return, I discovered what had happened. Although I understand that parking is tight, I was well within the two parking lines. This is the second time this month my car has been badly damaged in an almost identical accident.
The only difference was that I was still in the car the first time, so the other party had to pay the costs.
However, this time I will have to foot the bill myself at great expense and inconvenience.
If these people cannot drive or park a car then why don't they get a bus.
If you have an accident, at least have the decency to own up to it. It was, after all, your fault and not mine. Why no-one left details I can't imagine, but Merry Christmas to them.
I understand this will not jog anyone's conscience or memory but it may make me feel better to vent some anger. I am fed up, as I expect are hundreds of people, of suffering because of others who just can't be bothered.
One last thing if these people still don't remember, then check your bumper for green paint, as it's mine.
