A CHRISTMAS bazaar at Crockenhill Primary School has raised £1,400 for playground equipment.
Pupils, parents, and teachers at the school on The Green, Crockenhill, turned up to enjoy the event which included face painting, lucky dip, tombolla, craft stalls, second hand books, a grand raffle, and refreshments.
Father Christmas also put in a guest appearance, and some lucky people walked away with some amazing prizes including a trip for two on Eurostar to France.
Chairman of the School Association Jane Anderson-Eade said: "We are very grateful for the support of local businesses and a number of other organisations who have generously donated prizes which will be raffled on the day."
