Sacred Heart School's nativity play raised more than £500 last Thursday.
Nearly 270 children, aged three to 11, performed The Stable Story in the chapel at Digby Stuart College.
To help a pupil who needs a kidney transplant, the Roehampton primary school donated the money to London's Evelina Children's Hospital.
Ann Board, a parent of one of the pupils who took part, said: "We raised more than double our usual amount of money. It was absolutely wonderful in a beautiful venue and everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves.
"The play was a modern update of and was very jazzy."
Every one of the school's pupils took part in the production. Foundation children donned homemade costumes to play angels while older pupils filled the roles of bells, stars, shepherds and kings.
