A HANDY guide to help everyone prevent festive disasters has been produced by Greenwich Council.
The Keeping your Cool at Christmas guide provides useful advice on everything from the hazards of lit candles to methods of preventing stress over the Christmas period.
Cabinet member for public services Councillor Pete Challis said: "We want everyone to have as safe a Christmas as possible. This leaflet should prove indispensable to anyone who wants advice over the festive season."
Copies of the leaflets are available in all council buildings, or by calling the authority on 020 8921 8078.
