London Knights defenceman, Moe Mansi, has gone straight to the top of the "defenceman scoring table" this week after a statistical mix-up had meant that he had been omitted up until now.
The anomaly occurred after the ISL had Mansi down as a forward, despite the fact that he has only played one game in the forward-line this season.
All-Star coach Dave Whistle had also selected Mansi as a defenceman in his team for the ISL All-Star Chall-enge game last Friday.
Mansi''s goal against Manchester Storm last week took his tally to nine goals and, together with 16 assists, his points total is now 25 five more than his closest rival Rob Stewart, of Belfast Giants, who has three goals and 17 assists.
Mansi is also in second place in the overall Knights' rankings, eight points behind top-scorer Mike Barrie.
The Knights, who were entertaining Nottingham Panthers last night as we went to press ahead of tonight's trip to play Belfast Giants, are expecting a big crowd for the Boxing Day game for the visit of Bracknell Bees, when all the family are invited to a festime time with lots on offer.
They include buying four tickets for only £30 and getting four drinks free, plus .... burn off that Christmas pud with a Sumo wrestling game, chuck-a-puck the new era in rubber entertainment win amazing prizes such as two flights courtesy of British European Airways, game-day draws with even more great prizes, plus LKTV highlights of the Continental Cup in Oslo.
