Old Dunstonians' experience and superior skills saw them through to the second round of the Kent Cup against a plucky Sheppey side, running out 49-13 winners.
To their credit Sheppey kept their hosts on their toes by never giving up the chase and getting on the scoresheet with two well-taken tries and a drop goal.
The Old Boys' tries were scored by Simon Clay, Jeremy Scott, John Love, Jonathon Bennett and three from Dean Yendell. Jeremy Scott kicked six conversions, while Stuart Burns got the other.
