With regards to your article featuring the new craze in ornamental cats using rabbit fur on December 12.
While I find the idea of animal cruelty abhorrent, I feel grotesque comments made by an animal rights spokeswoman suggesting live rabbit skinning as a tad adventurous.
Does she have any proof of this Chinese practice? Do Action For Animals have evidence of alleged child sweat shop industries?
I am in favour of the usage of fake fur in this project, though do not see why rabbits killed for food should not have their fur put to use elsewhere, as if this is the case, there is no suffering involved.
I also believe that the group which is reported to have its registered office in Malaga, Spain, has far more pressing animal cruelty issues on its own doorstep!
