Tchaikovsky's enchanting classic Christmas ballet, The Nutcracker, will be performed by the acclaimed Russian National Ballet at the Fairfield Halls from December 26 to 31.
Founded by Sergei Radcheno, former star of the Bolshoi Ballet, the talent of Russia's gifted dancers is sure to charm in this holiday production.
Tchaikovsky's masterly score, performed by the Russian National Orchestra and conducted by Vladimir Moiseyev, paints the picture of a magical Christmas Eve, a fantasy world where toys come alive and do battle with mice and a Nutcracker is transformed into a handsome prince.
This world of sparkling scenery and magical toys, where childhood fantasies come true, is waiting to be brought to life in front of Croydon's crowds.
Performances start at 7.45pm and run from December 26 to 30, with a matinee on December 31.
Tickets are priced from £13.50 to £22.50. Call 020 8688 9291 to book or find out more information.
