THE Slovenian president Milan KuCan visited Greenwich borough as part of a state visit earlier this month.
Greenwich has been twinned with Maribou, in Slovenia, since 1967. During the visit the president was accompanied by his wife, Stefka, and ministers for foreign affairs and the economy.
After meeting the Mayor of Greenwich, Councillor Terry Malone, they toured the Royal Observatory and Cutty Sark.
