A Carshalton man has been barred from company management for six years after presiding over two scaffolding hire firms which went bust with collective debts of almost £750,000.
Adrian Bolton, of Stoneleigh Road, is also banned from holding any directorships for the same period, after admitting to breaching company and insolvency law while boss of Skipcol Builders Ltd and Systems Designs (UK) Ltd.
Both were based at the same address on the Dunford Trading Estate in Weir Road, Wimbledon. Skipcol went bust in August 1998 with tax liabilities and Mr Bolton then failed to co-operate with the liquidator and set up the second firm as an effective continuation of the first.
Systems Designs subsequently went into administration in April last year.
