A charity performance of a popular panto has been arranged to raise money for young families.
The Rotary Club of Darent Valley has booked a touring theatre company to perform Cinderella at the Woodlands Theatre, Swanley, on Thursday, December 27, at 2.30pm and 7pm. All proceeds will go to the local branch of Home Start, which is for young families in need.
Cinderella tells the romantic fairytale of a beautiful girl who lives with her two ugly sisters and how she eventually meets the handsome prince of her dreams.
The show is presented by In The Wings, a coupany of 20 professional actors, dancers, musicians and technicians which tours schools, theatres, leisure and community centres throughout Kent and Surrey.
This is the third year the group has presented a pantomime for the Rotary Club charities and support is once again being given by Swanley Town Council and ASDA Swanley.
This production of Cinderella is full of magic, spectacle and romance. It is a lavishly-costumed family show guaranteed to entertain everyone from the very young to the very old.
