In the Chingford League event at Trent Park, Enfield, the boys team finished second in four races and first in the under-17 girls event.

Alfie Wright put in his best performance of the season so far to finish ninth in the U13 boys race and he was well supported by Matthew Foderingham (12th), Ryan Lamley (16th) and Adam Robertson (17th).

Catherine Conway didn't like the cold but still finished in second place in the U15 girls event, a performance which enabled the team to grab a silver medal.

The girls U17 team narrowly held on to their record of not losing in the league with Samantha Harding (20th) and Sophie Bayling (37th).

Orion Juniors U11 Girls and Boys had the chance to confirm their massive ability by taking seven medals at the Holly Run at Reigate Priory, Surrey.

Lara Tembey's third place ensured the girls team took silver in the team award, with the help of Jo Gunnel (4th) and Jodie Shaw (5th).

The boys went one better by grabbing the gold medal, with good finishes from Aaron Farmer (5th), Stephen Dooher (8th) and Frankie Conway (11th).
