ROYAL Marines trooped down to Bexleyheath to accept Christmas gifts for servicemen and their families stationed in Bosnia.
Members of the 16th Regiment Royal Artillery in Woolwich went to Sainsbury's to collect the 65 presents donated by customers.
The collection was organised by Ennis Smith, who was also there for the presentation. They were joined by Chelsea Pensioners and Bexley mayor, Councillor Aileen Beckwith, for a lunch at the store.
The mayor attached cards from the borough to all the presents, which included toys, cakes and sweets.
The gifts are now on their way across Europe.
