NOW Christmas is getting nearer, may I write to the lady who donated money to me for a new wheelchair so I am able to go out.
I had waited so long for one from the National Trust, or whatever they call it these days.
I thank the kind lady from the bottom of my heart and wish her a merry Christmas and happy new year, as I do to all the other kind people that offered to loan chairs at the time.
My life has altered. No longer do I watch the rest of the world going by I'm joining them.
My daughter Pamela, granddaughter and my friend all take me out now.
I've been to all the big shopping centres.
I've also been taken to France and Belgium and met a lot of friends and old workmates who I haven't seen for years.
So to one special lady and readers once again, thank you and have a nice Christmas as I intend to.
