Lee Evans has chosen the Stag Theatre to start his comprehensive tour of the UK after a four-year absence.
Evans took the US by storm with starring roles in There's Something About Mary and Mousehunt. Now he returns with his award-winning, irrepressible brand of comedy in a hilarious new show.
Established as one Britain's biggest comedy stars, ex-boxer Evans has captured the imagination of audiences and critics with his physical and disarming charm.
His dad is a showbiz man who still performs.
Evans said: "My brother and I grew up in digs, theatres and clubs. We used to sit in the back of the car or be stuck backstage talking to dancers while Dad was doing his act."
This intimate knowledge of British cities and regional accents has been successfully incorporated in his act.
Lee Evans is at the Stag, Sevenoaks, for one night only, Thursday, February 21, at 8pm, all tickets are £19, 01732 450175.
