PRIMARY school children sang their hearts out to help a mother and her daughter who suffers from a rare chromosome disorder.
The children of Days Lane School in Days Lane, Sidcup, held a singathon for fellow Sidcup girl Kirsten Vye, who has Ring 18, which affects just five people in the country.
Earlier this year mum Emma Vye, of Curran Avenue, appealed for help to take little Kirsten for treatment in America.
Days Lane headteacher Noel Lake said: "Unfortunately Kirsten's condition means she is deaf but she really enjoyed the day as we all did."
Money is still being collected after the event where songs including The Twelve Days of Christmas were sung.
