Members of Gravesend Archers' Club had an "arrowing" time at their annual Christmas fun shoot, writes Gordon Law.
They all dressed up in novelty costumes and were given prizes for the best and worst women, men and children scorers.
There were also prizes given for the silliest costumes on display. In keeping with the theme, a large banquest was laid out for hungry archers around an outdoor fire.
More than 30 archers took part in the fun day, which took place at Meopham School.
The club regularly plays in a Kent league and has been in existence for more than 20 years.
Next February, the club will be holding its annual "Shoot the Shrimp" Tournament, when archers from visiting clubs are invited to take part.
If you are interested in joining Gravesend Archers, who also play indoor at Strood, or would like more details for the February event, call club secretary Jane Picton on 01474 325700.
