A SCHOOL friend of Paul Faulker has spoken about the shock caused by his death.

Football-loving Paul Faulkner was a pupil at Roding Valley High School in Loughton, and supported Tottenham Hotspur.

He was found dead at home in Foxley Close, Loughton on Saturday.

The body of his mother Maureen, 40, was also discovered.,

Close friend Simon Matthews said: "It's just weird that when we go back to school, we won't see him there.

"We're all going to miss him and can't believe how it's happened.

"You hear it on the news and television and on films but when it happens to one of your closest friends it's gutting.

"He was pretty quiet now and then, but with his friends he was pretty lively."

Stephen Faulkner has been charged with the murder of his wife and son.
