CAROL singers who entertained punters at Lewisham shopping centre got a helping hand from the Mayor of Lewisham.
Councillor Dave Sullivan attended the festivities with youngsters from All Saints Church, in New Cross, and Sedgehill School entertained shoppers to raise cash for charity.
The event raised £900 over two days for Lewisham Hospital's Lew 3 C's appeal, for colon cancer care, and the Mayor's charity the Lavender Trust in aid of breast cancer.
