ATTEMPTS are being made to provide young people with free travel on public transport.
Epping Forest and Harlow Youth Parliament member Ben Murphy, who has joined with Basildon MP Angela Smith, to campaign for the cause, said the justification to give concessionary transport to pensioners applies equally to young people.
Mr Murphy said: "This would be an amazing benefit for young people, allowing those who do not have parents with bottomless pockets to enjoy and participate in leisure and other outside school and college activities."
