Members of Meapa Gymnastic Club maintained their superb recent form when they competed at the Kent Reliance Festival at the Black Lion Sports Centre, in Gillingham.
It really was a tremendous performance by the Meapa girls, who won 10 golds between them while competing in varying age-group categories and is a testament to the excellent work done by coach Eileen Disley combined with the girls' dedication.
The gold winners, pictured with their shields and team-mates, were: Lisa-Marie Gray, who is seven, eight-year-old Grace Wong, Annalisa Wrubel and Hannah Garrett both, nine, 10-year-old Samantha Hughes, Natasha Gwalter, Lara Gray and Bobbie Ross, all 11, 12-year-old Victoria Youngs and Leanne Bardow, 14.
Congratulations to the Meapa girls and good luck in 2002.
