BOXERS competing in the Amateur Association Championships this season have an added incentive.
Winners will be looking to impress the Great Britain selection team for next year's Commonwealth Games in Australia.
This means the championship, which normally takes place between February and April, is being held from October to December.
The South East London Divisional Championships take place at the Crystal Palace Sports Centre on October 13 and boxers from many clubs will be competing.
Tickets are available on the door and are £15. Boxing will commence at 7pm.
