London Broncos chief executive Nick Cartright has said the club could relocate to Plough Lane if plans for a new stadium get the go-ahead.
Broncos have played at different stadiums across the capital, including the Valley and the Stoop, and will be at Brentford's Griffin Park stadium at least until the end of this season.
But Merton council's decision to give the all-clear for a sports stad-ium on the Plough Lane site could prompt a possible move there.
Cartright said: "There is always a chance of us playing at Plough Lane if the opportunity arose, but there are lots of other options we need to consider.
"The process of finding a permanent home is on-going and if the Plough Lane option becomes possible we would consider it."
Wimbledon Independent Supporters Association press officer Laurence Lowne says he has no problem with the possibility of Bronco's sharing Plough Lane.
"I am not against ground-sharing with Bronco's," he said.
"But if it happened I don't really know if people from Wimbledon would watch them.
"We carried out market researh and 18,000 people would watch Wimbledon, but I don't know how many would go along to watch rugby league."
