Players from Crystal Palace and Winbledon football clubs took time out last week to give their backing to the "Kick Racism Out of Football" campaign by meeting schoolchildren and competition winners.
Palace's Clinton Morrison, Alex Kolinko, and Curtis Fleming, together with Wimbledon's Kenny Cunningham and Jermaine Darlington all met youngsters and answered questions in the player's lounge at Selhurst Park on Thursday, April 11.
Winners of four competitions to write a poem, short stories and poster supporting the Red Card campaign to rid the game of racism, were presented with signed shirts by the players.
Over 600 schools had taken part in the competition throughout the UK, with the overall winner receiving a computer, and the two second places winning £500.
