VICTORIA line commuters will have something to smile about from this Sunday (July 14) when extra drivers are introduced to improve the service.
Four new drivers will be joining the line to increase frequency and reliability.
A new timetable has also been introduced which means extra trains on Saturdays. Also on Sarturdays, the service from Seven Sisters to Walthamstow Central will have an additional five trains an hour.
There will also be one extra late night train to Walthamstow Central from Monday to Saturday.
The new timetable will mean that late night Victoria line services to Walthamstow Central will run at least every ten minutes from Oxford Circus until 12.23pm.
Bob Bayman, London Underground Service Delivery Manager, said: "The Victoria line serves a vast area of London, from Brixton in the south to Walthamstow in the north east. We are constantly looking at ways to improve the service and these enhancements are part of that ongoing commitment to Victoria line users."
