As Henley Week enters its final days, Hampton School's J15 rowers are preparing to row through the night from Wallingford to Hampton in aid of the Princess Alice Hospice on July 10-11.

The crew of Nick Bentley, Guy Luff, Stewart Whyte, Myles Perrin, Matthew Owen, Adam McDuff, George Nuchtern, Lawrence Kennerley and Charlie Linacre will be supervised by their coach Chris Barnett.

The 70 mile sponsored row will be in memory of Old Hamptonian Dick Lawrence, who died last year at the Princess Alice Hospice, and is in aid of the hospice. Old Hamptonian Adam Glass raised around £10 000 in his Sahara Marathon.and Hampton teacher Russell Crew took part in the Three Peaks Yacht Race.

Head of Physics Stewart Coulter is preparing to cycle 420 miles over five days in aid of the Lance Armstrong Foundation this coming weekend.
