LEADERS Hounslow gained a fine win over Maidenhead and Bray on Saturday which left them 10 points clear ofChalfont St. Peter, who they play this Saturday at Church Meadow (1.30 p.m.).
Hounslow skipper Tony Parker's decision to bat first paid off with 236-7 declared off 43 overs, with Darrel Brown top scoring with 88. Richard Talbot and Tony Parker chipped in with 36 apiece.
A fine knock of 93 by Yousef and poor fielding by Hounslow enabled Maidenhead to finish only 21 runs short on 216. They were foiled by the bowling of Parker (5-86) and Brown (3-60) .
