KEW won in the last over of an exciting game against the Unplayables on Sunday, chasing a tough target of 226.
The Kew innings was dominated by Rob Maier who sprayed the ball to all parts of Kew Green in scoring 121. He received good support from Shaun Hayden (39), but a late collapse left Fran O'Neil and David Sheppard having to scramble five from the last over to win.
Batting first, the Unplayables had made a Worldwind start but some tighter bowling from Maier (2-29), and Sheppard (3-30), restricted the final total to 225 all out.
